Developed in alignment with the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) Convention and the Seafarers and Marine Pilots Training and Examination Directive, the book integrates advanced grammar topics such as complex sentences, advanced conditional forms, reported speech, causative verbs, and relative clauses with authentic shipboard applications. These include maintenance reporting, ship inspections, MARPOL compliance, SOLAS requirements, engine failure analysis, and other critical processes. Structured around a 14-week program, it covers technical domains from planned maintenance systems and engine room performance reports to formal and informal shipboard communication.
